Item of the week - June 2013

The lashes of 'Quo' I've been using on myself as well as on many of my clients.

What I like about the lashes is that they look so natural, they are very light, and easy to apply.

The lashes are made of 100% sterilized human hair. Each lash strip is knotted and feathered by hand to achieve a beautiful natural appearance.

The lashes come in different sizes and types, to suit any eye shape. Because the lashes are so light weight they are perfect for people who have smaller eyes (like me).

Prices for the lashes are around CA $10.-, but sometimes shopper drugmart has them on sale for much less! Just try them, you'll love them like I do.

DoWop's 'Lip Venom' is this weeks item of the week. I've been buying this product for years, and love it! I do have to say that it's quite pricey for the amount you get here.

This was the very first lip plumper on the market, 'enhancing' the lips with a blend of essential oils, which include cinnamon, wintergreen and ginger. It causes the blood to rush to the surface of the lips, flushing and swelling them slightly.

I've used a few lip plumpers before, but this one is still my favourite, I love the 'taste' of the gloss, and the way my lips feel and look after applying it.

This week I picked an item from Sigma Beauty that I really like. It's the eye shadow base kits, which contain 3 eye shadow bases and a travel size brush.

In the picture left you can see the eye shadow base kit 'Flare'. This kit has the following eye shadow bases: Pursue; a shimmery purple, Provoke; a nude color and Spy; a burned brown with a green shine to it (like 'club' by MAC).

There are 2 more kits available: The 'Dare' kit (contains 'Dash'; a matte plum, 'Strike' ; a shimmery burgundy and 'Unveil' ; a shimmery gold). The 'Bare' kit (contains 'Persuade' a matte nude, 'Pose' a shimmery brown and 'Sculpt' ; a shimmery charcoal.
