Maybelline 'Baby Lips'
Moisturizing lip balm
I was never really a big fan of
lip balms until I tried one of these lip balms from Maybelline.
Here in Calgary the air is so dry, you have to moisturise
everything all the time, especially your lips. using these lip
balms improve the way my lips feel throughout the day. 8 hour
hydratation it says on the packaging, this is true when you
re-apply it regularly. The lip balms have SPF20, so they are great
for on the beach or the ski slopes!
There are 6 different 'flavours'
; 4 of them have a nice subtle colour with a slight flavour, the
other 2 are clear. In the left picture (left to right) we have;
'Cherry Me', 'Grape Vine', 'Peach Kiss' and 'Pink Punch'. In the
right picture we have 'Quenched' and 'Peppermint'. I haven't
decided which one is my favourite, but I do like the peppermint a
lot! You can find these lip balms at your local drugstore for about
$ 4,99 here in Canada (prices my vary)

Mac Paint pot eye shadow
base
This is a great product by MAC
that I use every single day, no matter what look I'm wearing that
day. I've recommended it to many friends, all very happy to have
now discovered this product! The paintpots come in a variaty of
colours to play with; for a dark intense look there is 'Black
ground' perfect to create smokey eyes, for a pearly and shiny look
there is 'Bare study' and for the natural looks there are a few
basic colours appropriate to your skin tone. In the picture we have
the colour 'Painterly', and this is the colour I use every day.
These paintpots are basically eye bases or eye primers the yu apply
before applying your eye shadow. What it does is it prevents your
eye makeup from creasing, and it also helps to reduse redness or
the appearance of blue viens on the eye lids. The best way to apply
this produc is with your fingers, make sure to blend it out, and
you don't need much! All the paintpots work best when they are set
afterwards with a powder. Prices on the paintpots: $ 18.- (US) / $
22.- (CA)
